Please join us for a FREE Kids in the Kitchen Event at Whole Foods Market in Milwaukee sponsored by the Junior League of Milwaukee for children from the ages of 6-12. There will be 2 free sessions offered - so please join us for one!
The goal of this event is to raise awareness of healthy eating habits and to provide a venue for kids interested in food preparation and families interested in improving their eating habits. This event will include Nutritional Learning Stations where kids will participate in hands on activities including: A cooking class, USDA MyPyramid for Kids and relay race, Healthy Grains and Recipes, Hand Washing Station, a healthy food scavenger hunt, and other fun activities. Executive Chef Paul Zerkel of Roots Restaurant and Cellar, will be conducting a hands-on cooking session for the children as well.
